Danny had it all - the money and the fame. He was already on two different candy commercials. The toddler was living the good life. That would quickly change the night he decided to go for a walk. His last walk. The sidewalk curved in zig-zag ways, confusing the 4-year-olds' mind. Odd, how such a young boy could be strutting through the night. His parents were trusting of the boy, even if it was almost 10 o'clock at night. A sudden rustle in a nearby bush frightened him, sending chills up his back. Danny pulled his over-sized coat closer to his fragile body, almost suffocating him. When another rustling noise sounded, in the same bush, he started to pick up the pace. Small Danny felt eyes watching his every move. Halting, Danny peered behind him. "Phew," his high-pitched voice rang. It was just a small rabbit. Danny began walking once more, not catching sight of the blood gushing from the other side of the white fluf.
Another few curves, and Danny could see his house from there. His face lit up. Instead of running to his mansion, Danny slowed down. He was at ease. That is, until, he tripped. Crimson liquid spread over his knee, leaving tears running down his cheeks. Being only 4, Danny panicked. On the concrete, he waited until tear stains were left on his cheeks. Looking around for the cause of the trip, Danny realized his shoe was untied. He tied them, silently humming a song he once heard. His voice traveled throughout the night, cool breezes carrying it with them. Finally getting up, another shaking of a bush. Just a cutie bunny! he thought. Instead of running from it, Danny crept closer to the sound. Closer and closer, until it was too late.

Logan hated feeding. He absolutely hated it. If at all possible, he would much rather drink animal blood; but honestly, where could you get a steady supply of that? Especially on children. On adults it was bad enough, but on children? They wailed, and they sobbed, and it was against Logan's morals to do so; but, when you needed blood, you needed blood. Now, concealed behind a pair of bushes, he watched as a very young boy, only about 4-years-old, walked along in the darkness, innocent and unprotected; and unsuspecting. When the boy fell, Logan caught sight of the crimson fluids on his knee. His canines slid out in an instant, his incisors pointed as well. Slowly, the boy grew closer to him, as if preparing to strike. Forgive me, Go- Logan choked on the name, forgetting that he was unable to speak of the Creator. When he was within arms reach, Logan lunged from the bushes, striking for his throat.

Danny fell instantly at impact. Sobbing, the blond boy began to feel lighter. His throat was in a horrible pain. The toddler gave no goof fight. He could never win against this beast. "Mommy! Mommy!" he shouted, tugging on the vampire's hair. Everything was blurred. It wasn't the tears blocking his sight, but the dizziness that had hit. His wimpy arms dropped down, releasing the tuffs of hair. Blood poured from his neck, glistening in the moonlight. It was hard to call horrible. Danny bled and bled, until there was no blood to bleed. His neck was now covered in the blood, warming his cold skin. Now, the sidewalk was covered in piles of blood, hiding the gum and dirt stuck to it. The older boy on top of him fed, but Danny was yet to be dead. "Mommy... M-mooy," his words slushed. Another breath, and his heart gave up. A soft whisper could be heard, but only to the innocent. "It's okay, son, just relax, you will be okay..."
